The Equity Audit App helps schools and districts identify inequities, understand root causes, and implement research-based improvement strategies. Currently in beta, we are seeking educators, school systems, and funding partners who share our commitment to making high-quality equity audit processes more accessible, scalable, and actionable.
What Is the Equity Audit App?
The Equity Audit App is a comprehensive equity improvement platform designed to help schools and districts move from identifying inequities toward sustained institutional change. The platform collects data across eight research-based equity domains from students, families, educators, and school leaders. Results are analyzed and displayed through 12 interactive dashboards that provide disaggregation by demographic groups and respondent types, helping leaders identify equity needs that are often hidden in traditional school data systems.
Unlike most equity data platforms, the Equity Audit App does more than surface equity problems. The system connects identified areas of need to research-based implementation roadmaps that provide leaders with actionable strategies for improvement. These roadmaps include research-based practices, planning tools, and implementation guidance tailored to the specific equity challenges identified through the audit process. The platform also supports continuous improvement through progress monitoring pulse surveys that help schools and districts track change over time in specific equity areas.
